Working for a large Italian engine manufacturer, the Integration Team Manager supports the North American Integration Team as the on-site leader and as the primary contact between FPT facilities and the customer within each customer vehicle platform.   Responsibilities

  • To manage the group which provides project management support for FPT engines used in customer applications
  • Discuss overall project status with the customer to ensure successful completion of projects and achieving targets on time.
  • Interface and support between the customer and various FPT technical / production / key account departments
  • Constant coordination with the customer vehicle platforms.
  • Ensuring FPT engine specifications/configuration meet  customer vehicle requirements.
  • Coordination of engine prototype availability and vehicle program testing plans.
  • Prototype engine logistics support including engine orders and availability.
  • Technical support for engine spare parts and drawings.
  • Managing engine release documentation required for customer vehicle launches.
  • Integrate the customer product portfolio as well as industrializing new technologies (when available) ensuring  the best trade-off between cost and contents.
  • Support continuous product improvement after the program start of production
  • Other responsibilities upon request

  Required skills and experience:

  • 5 years of leadership experience for small group of engineers
  • Minimum 8 years of Product Engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication of technical data and project information
  • Strong prioritization skills including ability to manage frequent changes.
  • Flexibility in dealing with changing and/or partial information.
  • Excellent team skills including project leadership
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support above defined activities
