National Library Week

Indian Prairie Library celebrates National Library Week

(Darien, IL) ---             “You Belong at Your Library” is the perfect theme for National Library Week,” said Jamie Bukovac, director of the Indian Prairie Public Library at 401 Plainfield Road.  “Whether you’re job seeking, planning for college, traveling, gardening, fixing your car, studying investments, want to learn something or are just looking for something to do, you belong at Indian Prairie to take advantage of all we have to offer.”

During National Library Week, April 8-14, the Indian Prairie Public Library is encouraging people to not only belong to the physical library, but to also belong to the library’s Facebook page.  Go to facebook.com/ipplinfo where each day, from April 9 through April 14, the library will post a photo starring the insulated lunch bags that are being given out as prizes.  People who like the library’s Facebook page and like the day’s photo will be entered into a drawing to win one of the lunch bags.  Three bags will be awarded for each of the six days that photos are posted.  The winners will be announced on Facebook

“Our users are always telling us how much they like the library.  This is their chance to “like” us in a different way,” said Jamie Bukovac, library director.
