Ballet Benefit, Republican Fundraiser Tonight, Rain and High of 83 Expected Today
A lot going on today and tonight in Burr Ridge. Here's a rundown in your morning briefing.
1. There will be a fundraiser tonight for resident and Republic candidate for the 18th District Senate Seat, Barbara Bellar. The fundraiser will take place at Buca Di Beppo in Orland Park.
2. The and are teaming up tonight for a benefit for the Salt Creek Ballet. Meet HGTV's Monica Pedersen, who will be doing a book signing tonight in conjunction with the benefit.
3. The Burr Ridge Leads Club will be meeting at Juicy-O in Willowbrook this morning at 7:30. The group, which gets together to build relationships and exchange referrals, is looking for new members.

4. It won't be quite as hot today as it has been, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS predicts a slight chance of showers before 7 a.m., then scattered showers and thunderstorms between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. It'll be a mostly cloudy start to the day, then becoming sunny, with a high near 83. Tonight it'll be mostly clear, with a low around 64.
