Background: Foxy was left behind with heartworm when her owners moved. She was pregnant at the time and gave birth to six pups a few weeks ago. The pups are also up for adoption at Angel4Cause Rescue in Burr Ridge. (We'll have their info for you tomorrow.)
Personality: Foxy is a sweet dog, who is afraid of cats. She has been a caring mother, who will be looking for a permanent home once she is done being treated for heartworm.
