Burr Ridge-Hinsdale Pace Bus Running on Special Schedule Tonight

NEWS ALERT for Burr Ridge train/bus commuters: Metra will operate on a special schedule on Friday, May 25. The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BSNF) Line train that leaves Chicago at 5:32pm will NOT operate. Buses that normally meet this train will meet the train that leaves Chicago at 5:40 p.m. instead.

This will effect Pace Bus Route 668, which is the -Hinsdale bus. According to the Pace website, this bus provides rush hour commuter service from Burr Ridge, Willowbrook and Hinsdale to the Hinsdale Metra BNSF Station.

Residential communities served by this bus include Braemoor, Chasemoor, Carriage Way, Waterford Subdivision, Sweetbriar Apartments, The Hamptons, and Colonial Gardens Apts (next to .) The bus that normally leaves Hinsdale at 5:54 p.m. will leave at 6:14 p.m. instead. Other departures should not be affected.

The adjustment also will affect Pace Bus Route 662 (South Central Westmont) and 665 (Darien-Westmont.) The bus that normally leaves Westmont at 6:01 p.m. will leave at 6:22 p.m. instead. Other departures should not be affected.
