The deadline to register young baseball players for outdoor baseball summer camp with the Burr Ridge Park District is approaching. Parents have until June 20 to register their little ones for the camp that will run from June 25 to June 29 in Harvester Park.

The Perfect Swing Training Facility will hold the five-day camp from 9 a.m. to noon every day that week. Professional instructors and top college athletes will be teaching campers the fundamentals of the game. The Perfect Swing promises a 10:1, or better, camper to instructor ratio.

Campers will work on hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching, base-running, infield, and outfield. Players will be separated into age groups and skill levels. They will play scrimmage games as well as have contests for prizes.

Cost to register for the camp is $175. Each camper will receive a camp T-Shirt. Players should wear pants and hats, along with tennis shoes or baseball spikes. It is recommended that campers bring their own glove, bat and helmet. The Perfect Swing will provide helmets and bats for those who do not have their own.
