Man Charged with Hit and Run after Hinsdale Accident: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, Oct. 3-9.

 

TUESDAY, OCT. 9

Man Charged After Hit and Run

David F. Shutack, 60, of the 300 block of west 59th Street, Hinsdale, was stopped by Burr Ridge Police near the intersection of County Line and Plainfield roads at 4:43 p.m. and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license after officers said he was involved in an earlier hit-and-run accident in Hinsdale.

Police said Shutack was processed by both towns. He posted bond at the Hinsdale Police Department and was released to appear in court.

MONDAY, OCT. 8

Woman Drives on Suspended License

Patrice M. Dawson, 30, of the 100 block of Edison Road, Joliet, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop for driving with one headlight near the intersection of County Line Road and Veteran's Parkway at 11:41 p.m., police said. Dawson was released on bond to appear in court.

FRIDAY, OCT. 5

Hit and Run Reported

A complainant reported at 9:22 a.m. that a trailer parked in the 100 block of Shore Court was damaged by an unknown vehicle some time during the overnight hours. The value of the damage was unknown at the time of the report.

Man Caught Driving on Suspended License 

Jorge J. Miranda, 41, of the 4300 block of south Keating Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop near the intersection of North Frontage Road and Giddings Avenue at 2:06 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

THURSDAY, OCT. 4

Man With 2 Outstanding Warrants Arrested

Frank W. Flewelling, 55, of the 200 block of east 9th Street, Hinsdale, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and Woodgate Drive at 12:27 a.m., police said.

Police said Flewelling had arrest warrants outstanding from the Palos Heights Police Department and Will County Sheriff for failure to appear in court. He was released on bond for the Burr Ridge charges and transported to DuPage County Jail to await extradition, police said. 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 3

Man Driving on Suspended License Found With Pot

Lamar A. Payne, 24, of the 7800 block of South Shore Drive, Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis and driving on a suspended license after police stopped him for an equipment violation near the intersection of Route 83 and Central Avenue at 2:20 a.m., police said.
