Hit and Run Reported

A complainant reported at 9:34 a.m. that someone hit the rear of the complainant's car near the intersection of County Line Road and Burr Ridge Parkway and fled the scene, police said. No description of the driver or his or her plate number were supplied to police.

FRIDAY, DEC. 14

Driver Caught with Suspended License

Stan Sheputis, 52, of the 1000 block of Essington Road, Romeoville, was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration, obstructing identification, improper use of registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle during a traffic stop in the 300 block of Burr Ridge Parkway at 2:16 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 12

No Valid License Charge for Westmont Man

Guerrero Chavez, 29, of the 6700 block of Cedar Lane, Westmont, was charged with driving without a valid license and failure to signal during a traffic stop near the intersection of Interstate 55 and County Line Road at 10:01 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
