Burr Ridge Celebrates Halloween

Dozens of families came to celebrate Halloween at the Burr Ridge Park District Monday night. The event featured activities inside the Burr Ridge Community Center, such as a cookie walk, crafts and games with prizes. Employees of the park district dressed in costume dished out candy and hot apple cider as kids took part in the festivities.
Outside, an enchanted playground with popcorn and hayrides allowed kids to enjoy Harvester Park all decked out for Halloween with lights and full-sized blowup displays.
