Man Charged With DUI Also Found With Marijuana: Police Blotter

SUNDAY, DEC. 2

Palos Hills Woman Charged With DUI

Ewa Strzalinski, 51, of the 8300 block of West 99th Street, Palos Hills, was arrested after the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and Bluff Road at 1:39 a.m., and failed an ensuing breath test, police said. She was charged with DUI and improper lane use, and was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, DEC. 1

Driver Caught Without License

Victoria Akranglyte, 26, of the 500 block of Creekwood Court, Westmont, was charged with driving without a valid license and without insurance during a traffic stop near the intersection of Plainfield Road and Garfield Avenue at 7:46 p.m., police said. She was released to appear in court.

FRIDAY, NOV. 30

Driving Offenses for Willowbrook Man

Anatole Berbec, 22, of the 600 block of Mockingbird Lane, Willowbrook, was charged with driving without a valid license, without insurance and with an expired registration, police said, during a traffic stop in the 9500 block of Jackson Street at 8:31 a.m. He was released to appear in court.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 28

Bellwood Man Charged With DUI, Pot Possession 

Daven Gilbert, 29, of the 300 block of West 32nd Avenue, Bellwood, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop near the intersection of I-55 and I-294 at 3:33 a.m., and refused an ensuing breath test, police said.

Gilbert was also charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He was release to appear in court.
