Man Charged With Aggravated Driving on Revoked License
John Shanahan, 52, of the 12700 block of Saginaw Avenue, Chicago, was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, failure to signal, and driving an uninsured vehicle after a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and I-55 at 6:26 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 29
Man Charged With Driving on Suspended License
Raul Sosa, 56, of the 50 block of 52nd Avenue, Bellwood, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and I-55 at 1:57 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
Hit and Run
A complainant reported during the afternoon hours that his or her vehicle was hit while in a parking lot in the 100 block of Burr Ridge Parkway by an unidentified vehicle, police said. There were no witnesses.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 28
DUI, Cannabis Possession Charges
Aivaras Zigmantas, 27, of the 100 block of north Waterford Drive, Schaumburg, was charged with DUI, possession of cannabis, driving an uninsured vehicle, improper lane use, and improper use of registration after a traffic stop in the 7800 block of County Line Road at 12:14 a.m., police said. Zigmantas was released to appear in court.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 27
Willowbrook Woman Gets DUI
Carol Nabazas-Kenny, 63, of the 20 block of Kingery Quarter, Willowbrook, was charged with DUI after a traffic stop in the 15W100 block of south Frontage Road at 8:26 p.m., police said. She was released to appear in court.
