Gregg ChicagoRealtor Slapak Da*n, it's epidemic! I have been, will continue to be out-spoken on/about this problem in our community. First, we need better education, BEGINING at home by parents and other family members to/for the children within their family cluster. Then, improved education and continued through day of high school graduation. "DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE". Then... if that is not enough learning of the critical importance of the mater, and these reckless, "I don't give a da*n" about their own lives, let alone those of fellow motorists/their passengers, pedestrians and our precious children--let the full extent of the written law be handed to their selfish selves. Let them spend meaningful time in ,( hopeful meditation on the matter and their behaviors against society,) in the DuPage Couty Jail. with Mr./Mrs/Ms. Bubba. For those repeat offenders/sociopaths/potential murderers we have a collection of extended stay prisons for you. "Enough was enough long ago!" Crack down now, WPD, other area PDs and DuPage County Sheriffs!

Anyone who gets behind the wheel of a 2,000 lb automobile while intoxicated is just as guilty as a person holding a 9mm loaded glock to someone's head.If it's someone in my family that is killed by that animal that made the decsion to drive while drunk/stoned I would hope for the absolute longest sentence the state can give him/her or the death penalty.DUI has to STOP and IF that means taking a drivers license away permanently and slamming the offender in jail/prison then so be it! What happens to that offender in jail is his problem, not mine, and NO I don't care!
