SUNDAY, DEC. 23

Man Charged with DUI

Alan Bartelney, 30, of the 100 block of Plainview Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI and improper lane use after appearing under the influence of alcohol and failing an ensuing breath test during a traffic stop near the intersection of I-55 and Route 83 at 12:44 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

Driver Caught with Drug Equipment

Alec Hardy, 18, of the 200 block of Grant Village in Hinsdale, was charged with improper turn and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and Burr Ridge Parkway at 8:25 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, DEC. 22

Woman Under the Influence Flees Accident

Joan Workman, 52, of the 6500 block of Shabbona Road in Indian Head Park, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, failure to give information, disregarding a traffic light, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to give information after an accident, and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said. The charges came after an accident near the intersection of Plainfield Road and Fieldstone Drive at 9:54 a.m. Police said she was released to appear in court.
