Bomb Threat Made to Burr Ridge Hotel: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, Sept. 27 to Oct. 2.

 

TUESDAY, OCT. 2

Trespasser Caught on Video

A complainant from the 6400 block of Hillcrest Drive reported at 4:20 p.m. that his home surveillance system had taken video of a person walking around the complainant's home and checking its doors.

A copy was provided to police for an investigation.

MONDAY, OCT. 1

Prank Call Reported

A complainant from the 40 block of Deer Path Trail reported at 2:33 p.m. receiving a prank call from someone saying the complainant was under investigation for fraud.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 29

Hotel Receives Bomb Threat

It was reported at 9:45 a.m. that an unknown caller claimed there was a bomb in a hotel located at 15W0-100 block of north Frontage Road. Police say the building was evacuated and searched, but no bomb was found. 

There is a pending investigation.

No Time for Change

An unknown person who was attempting to change clothes in a public garage in the 500 block of Village Center Drive around 11:22 p.m. reportedly became confrontational with a security guard who told them to stop.

Police say the subject was gone by the time officers arrived.
