2 DUIs, Slew of Suspended License Charges: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, Dec. 27-Jan. 2.

 

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 2 

Suspended License

Arley Toney, 36, of the 6600 block of Marshfield Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control light after the driver was stopped in the 400 block of Village Center Drive at 8:24 p.m., police said. Toney was released to appear in court.

TUESDAY, JAN. 1 

Man Blows Stop Sign, Gets DUI

Travis Kirkley, 23, of the 3000 block of Columns Drive, Cumming, GA, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for disobeying a stop sign in the 0-100 block of Shore Drive at 2:12 a.m., and submitted to a pending blood test, police said. He was released to appear in court.

MONDAY, DEC. 31

Aggravated DUI Charge for Driver with Suspended License

Miroslaw Wytrwal, 47, of the 0-100 block of Horseshoe Lane, Lemont, was charged with aggravated DUI after the driver, whose license is suspended, appeared to be under the influence during a traffic stop for improper lane use near the intersection of Route 83 and Bluff Road at 2:21 a.m., police said. He submitted to a pending blood test.

Suspended License

Youseff Yousseff, 42, of the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive, Downers Grove, was charged with driving while license suspended, driving without insurance and failure to signal after a traffic stop near the intersection of 74th and Madison Streets at 9:54 p.m., police said. Yousseff was released to appear in court.

Channel Watson, 32, of the 7000 block of Calumet Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended, driving without insurance and a headlight violation after a traffic stop near the intersection of Plainfield Road and Elm Street at 11:43 a.m., police said. Watson was released to appear in court.

THURSDAY, DEC. 27

3 Juveniles Charged with Pot Possession

Three male juveniles from LaGrange Park were found to be in possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia during a suspicious-vehicle traffic stop near the intersection of Arbor Avenue and 74th Street at 10:16 p.m., police said. The juveniles—two were 16 and one was 17—were released to appear in court.
